Strong tops on the 8 inch mature roots make them easy to pull from the ground. The flesh is firm, crisp and of excellent flavor. Very productive and a fine keeper. High in vitamin A. Packet will plant approximately a 33 foot row.

In full sun and well-drained soil, sow 3 seeds per inch in the row. Cover seeds firmly with soil. Plant seeds 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. When plants are 2 inches tall, thin to 2 inches apart in the row. For fresh carrots all season, plant every 3 weeks until 75 days before the first fall frost.

8 to 12 days to germination. 75 days to harvest from germination. Too much water can cause carrots to crack. They should be kept weeded (a clean mulch can reduce this job). Also, place soil lightly over exposed roots to prevent cracking.
