Hardy Annual. Graceful spikes of dark blue flowers tinged with white can be grown anywhere. Showy, pealike blossoms open above lacy, sage-green foliage. State flower of Texas. Lovely as cut flowers for bouquets. Ideal for edgings or massed in beds. In mild climates, sow in fall for blooms the following spring. Thrives under dry conditions. 60 - 90 days to bloom. Grows best in sun or partial shade to a height of 12 inches.
